We're Rooting for You!

A small sprouted green plant grows from a wide brown root system.
Through identifying various types of plants, you'll gain an understanding about an important part of this ecosystem, which is the community of organisms and their relationship with their surroundings. For example, different bugs pollinate different types of plants.

You're currently in a part of the forest where you can examine different flowering plants. You'll need to write down what you see. You can't collect anything, so be as detailed as possible by drawing sketches or taking pictures.

On a light purple background, a white silhouette of a plant shows flowers and roots reaching down in the ground. The root are labelled root system and the stem is labelled shoot system. A flower is also labelled.
