Join archaeologist Robert “Ernie” Boszhardt and artist Geri Schrab as they discuss their award winning book Hidden Thunder: Rock Art of the Upper Midwest, Wisconsin Historical Society Press. Addressing several sites included in the book, Ernie will discuss the science while Geri shares her creative inspiration and process. Interwoven throughout the book are essays from a variety of American Indian perspectives, an essential element to make Hidden Thunder a balanced study of these enduring, ancient messages.

Schrab and Boszhardt  will be at the Effigy Mounds National Monument Visitor Center at 2:00 pm on June 30th for a meet and greet, presentation and book signing. All ages are welcome to attend.
