If the doll broke, where or how did the owner get it fixed?
Evidence of a Customer Service program for the Edison Talking Doll seems scant, but one repair order was written by Thomas Edison himself, to Edgar S. Allien (General Manager of EPTMCo), on July 28, 1890:
I beg to refer the attached letter, regarding Doll to be repaired, to you for your kind attention. The doll has been received here and has been turned over to Mr. E. E. Magovern at the Phonograph Works.
