SRO Update for May 1, 2018

Current Plow Crew Work Locations: Eielson Bluffs. The crew made it to the visitor center on Sunday evening and was able to get the parking lot cleared by yesterday. They are welding more ice cleats on the bulldozer before continuing west on the bluffs.

Steam Crew Locations: HQ plowing snow

Snow Depths: 10 feet across the road and 25 foot drifts. 

Aufeis Depths: Zero

Road Open to: HQ gate. Once the snow has been plowed and melted we will reopen to Teklanika ASAP.

Equipment Status: All up and running. Thanks to the auto shop.

Wildlife Sightings: Bears at mile 55.
