The 2022 Denali and Foraker mountaineering season ended the evening of Wednesday, July 6, when the last mountaineers of the season flew out of the Alaska Range.  Much of the gear still remains at basecamp, to be hauled off next week with the help of the US Army Sugar Bears out of Fort Wainwright in Fairbanks, Alaska.

We say these are 'Final' statistics, but we may see some data tweeks when the year-end numbers are published in our 2022 Annual Mountaineering Summary later this fall.  The annual summary will include statistics by climbing route, our typical array of demographic breakdowns, average trip length, etc.  We will also compile a summary of all major search and rescue incidents of the 2022 season, as well as a medical summary.  Stay tuned!
