Conditions
On the lower mountain, warm days have resulted in mushy snow and difficult travel conditions. At lower elevations snow is starting to consolidate, but at base camp and above the snow remains isothermal. On the upper mountain, recent storms have created hazardous avalanche conditions that teams have worked hard to manage safely.
