Motorized Vehicle Access Plan and Environmental Assessment Available for Review
Curecanti National Recreation Area is pleased to announce the release of the Motorized Vehicle Access Plan and Environmental Assessment (Plan/EA) for public review. This Plan/EA analyzes a range of alternatives for management of motorized vehicle access and their impacts on the environment. Superintendent Connie Rudd explained that, "The Plan/EA seeks to provide a clear direction for managing motorized vehicles off park roads while preserving and protecting the natural and cultural resources and natural processes of the recreation area, providing for appropriate recreational opportunities, and promoting the safety of all visitors and employees."
