Contact: Mark Woods, (606) 248-2817 The General Management Plan for Cumberland Gap National Historical Park has been posted and is available for public review and comment. It is a plan that will outline the management of the park and its resources. According to park superintendent Mark Woods, "The process of putting together this plan began a number of years ago and has involved the input of park visitors, communities surrounding the park, and park partners. We are in the final stages of completing this important document which will provide direction for the park for the next several years." The final comment period will run until January 4, 2010.
