Manage Full-Text Search Collections

You can manage CommonSpot search collections on a site-wide or subsite basis. (See Search, Search Collections, and Create Search Collection in Subsite Administration.)

To manage collections across all subsites, click Manage Full-Text Search Collections from the Site Search section of the Site Administration accordion menu.

Create collections from this dialog, then click a link in the Subsite Count column to assign subsite members to that collection.

To manage collections through CommonSpot, the search service must be running on the server. Use Server Administration - Utilities - Check Full-Text Engine Configuration to test and verify your search configuration.

You can optionally exclude expiring pages from external search service indexing. See the description of this feature in Site Administration - General Settings.
