Saddlehorn Picnic Area

The Saddlehorn Picnic Area consists of a large parking lot, picnic tables, and restrooms. Heads up, there are no shade structures at this picnic area. Water at the indoor restrooms and drinking fountain is turned off seasonally for the winter, when nighttime temperatures generally remain below freezing. During winter, a portable restroom is set up in the first couple of parking spaces.

Note that picnic tables, restrooms, and drinking fountain are inaccessible for people who use their own wheelchair.

Considerations when reserving for an event:

1. Event participants must park in the Saddlehorn Picnic Area parking lot.
2. Saddlehorn Picnic Area has 45 picnic tables and 18 charcoal-only grills.
3. Maximum number of parking spaces that can be occupied by a single event is 10.
