Colorado National Monument's Junior Ranger booklet
NPS Photo
Anyone can become a Junior Ranger!
Ask a ranger for a booklet at the visitor center or entrance station. Complete the activities in the booklet, and return to the visitor center. A ranger or volunteer will help answer any questions about what you saw while exploring. Then, you'll say the Junior Ranger pledge to receive your official Junior Ranger badge! We're happy to work with your needs to earn a badge.
There is no age limit on who can become a Junior Ranger. Most National Park sites offer Junior Ranger programs and you can find a list of them here. You can explore and learn about the parks, all while earning your badges.
If you would like to print the book out before your visit to the monument, here is the .pdf version of the booklet. Please e-mail the park if you need a Spanish version of the booklet.
For Junior Rangers who can't visit in person, you can complete the .pdf version of the book and email it to the park. We will send you our official Junior Ranger stickers by mail. Due to shipping costs, we are unable to mail physical badges.
