Join us on March 12, 2015 and enjoy the Charles Young birthday event, fee-free and open to the public. A reception will follow the birthday program. During the event we will remember the accomplishments of Colonel Charles Young with a special tribute. Additional remarks will be shared by Dr. Joy Kinard, Superintendent of the Charles Young Buffalo Soldiers National Monument, Dr. Charles Wash the Director of the National Afro- American Museum & Cultural Center, Dr. Brian G. Shellum, Charles Young Scholar, and other area community leaders.
