Wheelchair Access: The Historic 17th Century Fort Christiansvaern is not wheelchair accessible. The ground is uneven and has many steps. The picnic area, Scale House, and Book Store/ Visitor Center however are all accessible by wheelchair.
Service Animals: Service animals are permitted in the Fort Christiansvaern and in the Scale House.
Pets: Dogs are allowed in the open grass around the fort, picnic area and wharf. Please clean up after your pets. Pets must be on a 6-foot leash.
Languages: Brochures are available in English and Danish. Bilingual rangers are on staff to answer questions in Spanish and Japanese.
