At 2 pm, on Sunday, July 2, Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park will host a special 45 minute program at Chickamauga Battlefield. Participants will visit places associated with some of the strange and unusual names you see around the park. Remember to dress appropriately for conditions and bring along a bottle of water and a folding chair, if you like.

Just a short drive through the Chickamauga Battlefield will bring past your eyes a series of names and words that leave you wondering about their stories. Who was August Willich? What was the Orphan Brigade, what did Lytle do to get a hill named after him? To find out the answer to these questions and to hear even more, join us for this special tour.
