Lookout Mountain, Tennessee:Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park is pleased to announce the waiver of entrance fees to enter Point Park on top of Lookout Mountain, Tuesday, November 11.Experience the majestic views in our nation's first National Military Park. This year Veterans Day will be celebrated as a fee-free day for all park visitors in honor of U.S. veterans and current members of the U.S. Armed Forces.All park entrance fees, including commercial tour entrance fees will be waived at all 401 national parks. This fee-free day provides an opportunity for individuals and families alike to take an affordable vacation or to explore a nearby park they have never visited before.The National Park Service has the honor of preserving these battlefields, which commemorate and honor the service of American veterans. |
