Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park is pleased to announce the waiver of entrance fees to enter Point Park on top of Lookout Mountain, Sunday, August 25, 2013. Experience the majestic views from Chattanooga's surrounding landscapes found in our nation's first national military park.

Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park Superintendent Cathy Cook says that "Birthdays are a time to celebrate, and we want everyone to visit a national park." National parks belong to all Americans and offer something for everyone. So, on the National Park Service's 97th birthday, we encourage you to visit a park – join a ranger-led tour, take in the scenery, or visit one of the many museums. This fee-free Sunday provides an opportunity for individuals and families alike to take an affordable day to explore a nearby national treasure.
