“The Yanks Are Coming:” Hiking Snodgrass Hill, 1863-1945
On Saturday, April 15, at 9 am Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park will conduct a 4 mile, ranger-guided, hike exploring the Snodgrass Hill and Horseshoe Ridge areas of Chickamauga Battlefield. This hike begins and ends at the Chickamauga Battlefield Visitor Center.

Disease and Discovery: Cultural Clash in the Southeast
Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park invites the public to participate in a 1.3 mile, 90-minute hiking tour exploring the devastating effects of Spanish contact on the Mississippian Indians and their ancestors in the Southeast on Saturday, April 8, at 2 pm, at Moccasin Bend National Archeological District.

“Advancing too Far:" The Struggle for Brock Field and Vicinity
Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park invites the public to attend a special 2-hour hike and tour of Chickamauga Battlefield covering some of the  battle’s second day of fighting, September 19, 1863. This tour begins in the Chickamauga Battlefield Visitor Center lobby at 2 pm on Saturday, April 1, and will car caravan to Brock Field for the hike.

Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park Seeks Volunteers for Annual Civil War Trust Park Day
On Saturday, April 1, 2017, history enthusiasts, community leaders, and preservationists will team up with the Civil War Trust at more than 130 historic sites in 30 states to participate in the 21st annual Park Day.
