Lookout Mountain, TN: Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park is pleased to announce the waiver of entrance fees to Point Park, atop Lookout Mountain, on Saturday, September 27. Visitors are invited to experience the majestic views of Chattanooga's surrounding landscapes from our nation's first national military park. National Public Lands Day is a time when Americans are encouraged to visit a park and learn about the environment and its natural resources. It is also a day that is aimed at promoting the need for continued stewardship of these irreplaceable lands. We hope you will take this opportunity to participate in a ranger-guided tour, stroll through Point Park, or hike some of the park's trails in order to experience the wide range of beauty your local national park has to offer. |
