Memorial Day Programs at Lookout Mountain Battlefield

Fort Oglethorpe, GA: During Memorial Day weekend, Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park will provide a variety of special programs on Lookout Mountain.
 
On Saturday, May 27, at Point Park, atop Lookout Mountain, there will be a special Memorial Day artillery program commemorating the men and women whose lives have been lost in service to our nation. Visitors are encouraged to bring a photograph or small memento of a friend or loved one who died in the line of duty, as these servicemen and servicewomen will be recognized during the program. Artillery programs are scheduled at 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm, and 3:30 pm.
 
In addition to these programs, there will be ranger-guided tours of Point Park at 11 am, 2 pm, and4 pm on Saturday and Sunday, and Cravens House will be open to the public from 1 pm to 5 pm on both days as well.
 
Admission to Point Park is $5 per adult, ages 16 and older (ages 15 and younger are free), and there are no fees to visit Cravens House.
