The Chamizal National Memorial announces public information meetings on its plan to limit alcoholic beverages.Superintendent Catherine Light announced plans today to host two open house style public meetings to provide basic information and to answer questions and listen to comments on the proposed regulation to prohibit alcohol on the grounds at the Chamizal National Memorial during June, July, and August of each year. Chamizal National Memorial will hold a public meeting at the Paisano Gallery on Wednesday, April 6, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. and another on Saturday, April 9, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Memorial Theater to discuss the proposed regulation prohibiting alcohol. Park representatives will be present to discuss the process and answer any questions about the new regulation. |
