The meetingwill begin at 8:30 am and is open to the public. The March meeting willinclude discussion on a wide variety of subjects related to the ongoingdevelopment of the park through the implementation of the park's GeneralManagement Plan and Key Partner related topics. Individuals who areinterested in the park, the implementation of the Cedar Creek and Belle GroveNHP General Management Plan, or the business of the Advisory Commission areencouraged to attend the March 20, 2014 meeting. The park will also serve asthe focal point of the Shenandoah Valley Battlefields National HistoricDistrict, a National Heritage Area. Created on December19, 2002, the park encompasses approximately 3,700 acres across three countiesand is managed by the National Park Service in partnership with Belle Grove,Inc; Cedar Creek Battlefield Foundation; National Trust for HistoricPreservation; Shenandoah County and the Shenandoah Valley BattlefieldFoundation.
