Parents: The National Park Service is committed to helping young people understand the special qualities of national parks, and the importance of developing a stewardship ethic for future protection of parks. If this is your first experience with a Junior Ranger program, your child is off on a great adventure! Many national parks have Junior Ranger programs. Have fun and learn along with your child as you explore Cape Cod National Seashore. It can take up to two days in the national seashore to fulfill our program requirements. If you don't complete them all in one visit, come back again! If you're here during winter when we aren't offering ranger programs, ask a ranger for other activities your child can do instead. Kids: Being a Junior Ranger means you understand how special national parks are and how it is up to all of us to help protect them in the future. We hope you will have fun learning about this park and the many others that also have Junior Ranger programs. There's Always Something to Do! Rainy day? No ranger programs available? There's always fun to be had at Cape Cod National Seashore! Ask for one of our scavenger hunts at the visitor center. |
