National Seashore to Host Virtual Public Meeting on Cable Road Multi-Use Path

WELLFLEET, Mass.– On Thursday, June 26 at 6 pm, the National Park Service will host a virtual public meeting for interested members of the public regarding plans to install a one-mile-long multi-use path on the north side of Cable Road. The purpose of the path is to provide safe access to Nauset Light Beach. The project is currently in the design phase.

The virtual meeting will present the scope of the project and showcase design concepts. After the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide comment about the design concepts for the multi-use path.

The public comment period will open on June 26 and close on July 10, 2025. Beginning June 26, public comments can be submitted here: https://parkplanning.nps.gov/CACO_Cable_Road_Trail
