WELLFLEET, Mass.– The National Park Service (NPS) invites interested members of the public to attend an open house to learn more about the upcoming Cable Road Multi-Use Path project in Eastham. The open house will take place on Tuesday, December 16 from 6-7 pm at the Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham.

The project aims to install a one-mile-long multi-use path on the north side of Cable Road. The purpose of the path is to provide safe access to Nauset Light Beach. The project is currently in the design phase. The meeting is free to attend and open to the public.

The meeting will present the scope of the project, offer design mock-ups, and provide an update on the project status. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide comment for the multi-use path project.

For those unable to attend the public meeting, the public materials and additional information will be available on the NPS PEPC planning website.
