Buffalo Point Campground Reopening

Buffalo Point Campground has started to reopen loops that were closed due to significant storm damage that occurred on July 21. The group sites, Pavilions 1 & 3, three walk-in tent sites, Loops A, B, C, D, and E will open at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 27. Portions of C Loop, the walk-in tent area, and Pavilion 2 are still closed at this time. 
 
All access points to the river are open. The cabins and restaurant are open as well.  The Indian Rockhouse Trail has several trees down on it, but is open for hikers. The Overlook Trail, Campground Trail, and Forest Trail remain closed at this time.
