With the enactment of a continuing resolution on Friday night, staff at Buffalo National River resumed regular park operations over the weekend. Please visit www.nps.gov/BUFF for updated information about the park, including scheduled programs and accessibility. As a reminder, Lost Valley is closed until further notice for major improvements to the hiking trail, entrance road, and parking area. This work is scheduled to be completed in late February.

Many thanks to numerous park stewards and concerned citizens who volunteered toward the upkeep of Buffalo National River during the lapse in appropriations.

Buffalo National River’s employees are happy to be back at work, serving the American people and welcoming visitors to their national parks. We look forward to greeting you.
