NPS Photo The Extreme Motus requires and assistant to push the chair; it is not able to be powered by the user. The chair is available on a first-come, first-served basis. No reservations. Checking Out the ChairCome to Bryce Canyon Visitor Center information desk and if the chair is available, a ranger will begin the checkout process. Both user and assistant must fill out a waiver prior to use. Eiter the chair user or the assistant must present an ID and proof of insurance. The ranger will then go through a brief training on how to use the chair and review the chair features checklist with both the user and the assistant. The ranger will also review which trails the Extreme Motus may be used on.Because the Extreme Motus chair is too long to fit on the Park Shuttle, the ranger will provide you with an accessibility pass to park at trailheads along the Bryce Amphitheater. The Extreme Motus is available for single day checkouts only and must be returned before the Visitor Center closes on the same day of the checkout. We cannot store personal visitors.
