While travelling across the Blackstone River Valley, you will find yourself in a mix of urban, suburban, and rural settings. Please always be aware of your surroundings. The National Park Service does not currently own or manage many of the properties within the Blackstone River Valley, so each individual community provides police, fire, and rescue services. Please follow all state and local laws and regulations while you are touring the Blackstone Valley.
