Due to recent severe weather, damage assessments are still underway and clean-up efforts will begin more fully Wednesday morning 9/13. Parkway facilities may continue to be affected with limited access and power outages, and some staff will operate under a delayed start.
The following guidance only applies to personnel in offices and facilities from VA Route 8 milepost 165 south to milepost 469.
All Maintenance & Engineering, Law Enforcement or assigned IAP staff should report for duty at 8 am Wednesday 9/13.
All other employees in the affected area will operate on a delayed start at 12 pm noon Wednesday 9/13. Those employees that are able should plan to telework until 12 pm noon. For those unable to telework, Administrative leave is approved until 12 pm noon 9/13.
Again, the delayed start only applies to staff in the affected area south of VA Route 8 and non- Maintenance & Engineering, Law Enforcement or assigned IAP staff.
If you are already on scheduled leave, you are not authorized Administrative Leave. Employees must be present in the workplace to be granted Administrative Leave.
All staff are encouraged to call into the All Staff briefing ((866) 744-7845, passcode 9023637#) at 10 am Wednesday 9/13 for any additional operational updates. Depending on damage assessments and status of clean-up efforts, some closures may be extended beyond 12 pm noon on Wednesday.
