Join Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area as we celebrate the time-honored tradition of storytelling in Kentucky during the 12th annual Blue Heron Ghost Train on September 10, starting at 5:00 PM (ET),

Hear chilling tales spun from the hills and hollows of the Cumberland Plateau during this free live event as you experience the beauty of Kentucky, and the solitude of Blue Heron Mine-18.

Enjoy music by Ranger Jordan Hughett, Chip Bailey, and Lone Mountain Sound, Junior Ranger activities, and face painting. Food and drink will be on sale at the Blue Heron Concession Stand. Then from 8:00-10:00 PM, talented local storytellers, Beth Kilburn, Lounicia Hughett, Robert Stephens, and Chip and Diane Bailey will take the stage.
