For the safety of both staff and volunteers, Big South Fork’s National Trails Day workday will be rescheduled from Saturday, June 1 to Saturday, June 22. The two organized work areas will be on the Sheltowee Trace Trail, a designated National Recreation Trail and Proctor Ridge Horse Trail.

Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area continues to recover from the Sunday, May 26 weather event that produced dangerously high winds, and dropped almost two inches of rain, adding to the more than 10 inches of rain the area has received for the month.
