Oliver and Fish
A budding young naturalist

NPS Photo

People of all ages can have a great time exploring the Big Cypress with their families and friends. If you are new to the Preserve participating in any one of our regularly scheduled ranger programs is a great way to discover what's here. You can take a stroll along one of our trails or visit one of the wildlife viewing areas in search of some amazing animals. Many families enjoy camping and fishing in the area. With a little work, kids can even become a Junior Ranger!

Become a Junior Ranger!

Ever dreamed of being a park ranger? You can earn your badge and become a Big Cypress Junior Ranger by working on a Junior Ranger booklet.

Animal Coloring Pages

Over the years, volunteers, interns and ranger staff have created coloring pages we'd like to share with you. Click on each link to download a larger page that you can print for your work of art. Have fun!
