Photo by Sally King Remember it is not longer possible to get this view since the floods of 2011 and 2013. Turning around and looking to your left, you will see the second or Lower Falls. The Lower Falls, like the Upper Falls, drops over a resistant ledge formed of basalt rock. The drop here is less than 45 feet. In winter, a beautiful ice sculpture may form at the base of this falls. |
