Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Internship
The GIS Intern will primarily work with the park’s Cultural Resource Program on the modernization of legacy datasets, updating master geodatabases with several years of backlog GIS data, uploading GIS data to NMCRIS, working with existing NPS datasets, web and mobile GIS, preparing tablet and GPS equipment for mobile data collection, integrating existing geospatial data into established national and regional spatial data standards, producing maps for staff, improving GIS workflow, and responding to GIS user issues and requests.
