This spring ranger led program schedule will begin March 21st.

Programs will be offered every Saturday.

Horse Program (Saturday 10 a.m.)

(20 Minutes) - Join us as we unlock many of the mysteries that surround the wild horses of Assateague Island!
- Wheelchair Accessible

Programs Located on the Island

Tour the Historic Boathouse Museum (Saturday 9-11 a.m.)

(2 Hours, drop in anytime) - Stop in at the historic boathouse to learn about the US Life Saving Service (a precursor to the US Coast Guard) and the heroic men who risked their lives to rescue shipwrecked mariners during coastal storms.
- Located just off Bayberry Drive, across from Ferry Landing Road.

Guided Walk on Life of the Marsh Trail (Saturday 2 p.m.)

(45 Minutes) - Join a ranger for a short, guided walk on the Life of the Marsh Trail to learn more about Assateague Island’s amazing natural environment and it’s significance!
- Located just off Bayside Drive
- 1/2 Mile raised boardwalk trail
- Wheelchair accessible
