3D animation, 2024

My animation, Maine Sunrise, is inspired by the feeling of watching low-lying clouds and mist brush through the trees—the red sun barely breaking through, then gradually strengthening, burning off the mist, and setting the whole world sparkling. My spine prickles as deer watch me from the underbrush, while gannets and seagulls ignore me, gleefully eating their breakfast of crabs and small fish. I have to imagine the equally chaotic scene below the waves, as schooling fish dodge and weave in a complex dance, eating their breakfasts of oysters and smaller fish, keeping their eyes peeled for any opportunistic predators from above or below.
