Kids in Parks provides a network of family friendly trails, called TRACK Trails, that connect various public lands in an attempt to get kids "un-plugged", outdoors and reconnected with nature for their health and the health of our parks. The Antietam Track Trail starts at the historic Mumma Farm (Stop #6 on the driving tour route).Trail brochures which can be found at the visitor center include Natures Hide and Seek, Birds of the Greater Washington DC Area National Parks, Mumma and Roulette Farms Scavenger Hunt, and the Need for Trees. Trail brochures can also be downloaded by visiting http://www.kidsinparks.com/trails/md/antietam-national-battlefield. For more information, please contact the park visitor center at 301-432-5124. |
