Learn more about the types of permits and requirements below.Commercial Filming and Still PhotographyA special use permit is required for all commercial filming activities and certain still photography activities occurring within a unit of the National Park System. The regulation governing these activities is found at 43 CFR part 5; this regulation based on Public Law 106-206 applies to all land management agencies in the Department of the Interior.

Application for Filming PermitsFor your request to be considered, please print and comple one of the forms below and mail or fax it to the park along with the appropriate application fee. All film and photography permit applications require a one hundred dollar ($100.00), non-refundable fee that does not guarantee permit approval. Other potential charges include, but are not limited to monitoring by Rangers, clean-up and site restoration, and recovery of administrative costs. You may also be required to post a performance bond.
