Mark your calendar for Saturday, November 4th! The Abraham Lincoln Birthplace NHP in Hodgenville will hold volunteer training for anyone interested in helping out at the park. Potential volunteers can help indoors, outdoors, or both! Over 200,000 people come to this part of Kentucky every year from all over the world to remember Lincoln, and we need help providing an unforgettable experience while they do. There is no mandatory minimum for what you're willing to give; whether it's an hour or two a month or several hours every week, the National Park Service is grateful for the help. The training will be from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. EST, and only 10 seats are available, so please reserve you spot either in person or by calling 270-358-3137.
