News Release Date: August 27, 2009 Press Release Release date: August 18, 2009 What:Music and Living History Presentations honoring Labor Day, Monday September 7, 2009 Who: First Person Re-enactors Eric Franz as Abraham Lincoln and Zoe Jackson as Mary Chestnut Music by folk singer Anne Milligan When: Labor Day Monday, September 7 at: 11:00 am (ET) Mr. Lincoln reflects on his life up to his election as an Illinois State Representative. 2:00 p.m. Mary Chestnut, taken directly from one of the South’s most articulate women during the Civil War and offering an interesting Southern perspective. Why: A special Bicentennial celebration of Labor Day How Much: FREE, public is invited to attend! Where: On the Memorial Building Steps, 2995 Lincoln Farm Road, Hodgenville, KY42748, three miles south of Hodgenville, KY on US 31E.
