On February 12th, the Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park will host a wreath-laying to mark the 208th anniversary of the birth of Abraham Lincoln. All events are free and open to the public.
At 10:00 A.M. ET park staff members will continue an annual tradition of placing a wreath at the Symbolic Birth Cabin in the park's Memorial Building.
Visistors should note that the accessible boardwalk leading to the Memorial Building is closed at this time due to a construction project. The only route available the day of the event to access the Memorial Building will be the 56-steps leading to the top of the hill.
