Contact: Stacy Humphreys, 270-358-3137 The Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park is holding volunteer orientation training days for those wishing to volunteer at the park's visitor center information desk. Classes are limited to 8 prospective volunteers. Those wishing to participate are asked to call the park's visitor center to make a reservation. The required training class is free and spots will be reserved on a first come, first served basis. Please call the park's visitor center at 270-358-3137 to make your reservation. Training is scheduled for the following dates and times:
Prospective volunteers will learn about the National Park Service's history and about the history and formation of the park. The training will include a tour of the park grounds and facilities.
