Yukon River in winter

Yukon River Webcam

A webcam sits high on a bluff above the Yukon River, next to a peregrine falcon nest. In summer, it offers a view of the peregrine falcons raising their young. In winter, it gives a glimpse of the winter environment on the Yukon River.

 

Did You Know?

Steam Tractor

The Washington Creek steam tractor was used in an effort to transport coal before it was determined that the coal in Yukon-Charley was too soft to be burned by sternwheelers.
