Civil War: The Untold Story

Vicksburg National Military Park presents a free preview screening to celebrate the new Public TV series:


This 5-part documentary series is narrated by Elizabeth McGovern and airs in April 2014 on Mississippi Public Broadcasting.

This ground-breaking series examines the war through the lens of the Western Theater – including the critical, yet lesser-known battles of Fort Donelson, Shiloh, Vicksburg, and Chickamauga.

The preview will be held in the auditorium of the Southern Cultural Heritage Center in Vicksburg, MS, on March 20, 2014, at 7:00 pm. The event is free and open to the public.
