Multiple monument located on Confederate Avenue at the Louisiana Memorial (Park Tour Stop 11). This unit was attached to Brig. Gen. Samuel B. Maxey's Brigade, of Maj. Gen. Samuel G. French's Division (organized 21 June 1863), Gen. Joseph E. Johnston's Army of Relief, Department of the West, and commanded by Col. Thomas Shields.
