Monument is located Union Avenue 100 yards southwest of the Wisconsin Memorial. Also iron tablets located 300' west of Park Tour Stop #4 and in the mowed bay 300' east of Confederate Avenue north of Glass Bayou. [east of 37th & 38th Mississippi trench marker.] This unit attached to Brig. Gen. John McArthur's 6th Division, Maj. Gen. James B. McPherson's XVII Army Corps and was commanded by Capt. John W. Powell.
