Monument located 200 yards south of the Iowa Memorial. Marker for Company E located on Union Ave. 200 yards north of the Minnesota Memorial. This unit was headquarters escort for Brig. Gen. John E. Smith's 7th Division of Maj. Gen. James B. McPherson's XVII Army Corps.
