Monument located 200 yards south of the Iowa Memorial. Marker for Company A located on Jackson Road 100 yards east of Maj. Gen. John A. Logan's Statue. This unit was headquarters escort for Maj. Gen. John A. Logan's 3rd Division of Maj. Gen. James B. McPherson's XVII Army Corps and was commanded by Lt. William B. Commins. [Refer to Logan of Illinois.]
