Monument located on Union Avenue 200 yards south of the railroad bridge. Also a marker designating the assaults of 22 May 1863, located on the exterior slope of the Railroad Redoubt on Confederate Avenue; a marker designating a sharpshooter's line located on Union Avenue near the Iowa Memorial a marker designating the advanced sharpshooter's line located 300' south of the Railroad Redoubt on Confederate Avenue and a marker designating the camp site located on Union Avenue in front of the Iowa Memorial. This unit was attached to Col. William Stone & Brig. Gen. Michael K. Lawler's 2nd Brigade of Brig. Gen. Eugene A. Carr's 14th Division, XIII Army Corps under Maj. Gen'l's John A. McClernand (relieved 6/19/63) and Edward O.C. Ord and was commanded by Col. William M. Stone (wounded 22 May 1863), Lt. Col. Harvey Graham (captured 22 May 1863), Maj. Joseph B. Atherton & Capt. Charles N. Lee.
