Most summer seasonal jobs run from mid-May to early-September and require work in an outdoor setting. Jobs with the National Park Service are often very competitive and you must be a United States citizen to work for the Federal Government.

To search for available positions and learn more about the job duties, go on-line at www.usajobs.gov, type in, "Porter, IN", in the City/State block, click on the link for the particular positions advertised and follow the instructions on how to apply. All application materials must be submitted on-line by the closing date of the job announcement. Most job announcements are only open for one or two weeks so don't delay, if interested.
